WEDDINGS: What to Expect

I'm passionate about weddings and I aim to ensure you enjoy your day while getting some great photographs to remember it by. My goal is to photograph your wedding day as it unfolds, discreetly capturing the excitement, drama and details of the day from the lace on your gown to your future husband's face when he sees you for the first time on your wedding day. The focus is on the story of the day and so I like to be there from the beginning with your bridal preparations.

This calm and unobtrusive style creates wonderfully natural, intimate images from your day and builds a true story of events as they happen. I capture the emotions and relationships between you both and your family and friends as the day progresses from anticipation of the ceremony through to the evening celebrations.

Additionally I like to spend a couple of short sessions alone with you immediately after you are first wed and again after the speeches and wedding breakfast are over, just before the party really gets going! Not only does this give you some precious time together but we get some very personal shots of just the two of you - the one's you'll love the most and want to hang on your wall to look at forever!

Investment:

Choosing your wedding photographer is an important decision.Your wedding photographer is with you all through your wedding day, and can be a friend to guide and calm you during the events of the day so finding someone you like and are at ease with can be a real bonus. I will work with you to cover your wedding starting as you get ready for the day around 2 hours prior to the ceremony.

I will be there to capture the groom before the ceremony and some informal shots of guests arriving. Any formal group shots you want are taken care of in a relaxed manner whilst not keeping you hanging around too long. Detail shots of the venue, bride and groom portraits and cutting the cake are all covered and I finish with speeches and first dance, staying to capture a few guests dancing too if possible. Any specific requests you have are discussed at our final consultation which takes place 2-4 weeks prior to your wedding day.

As well as photographing your day I'm frequently called on to help lace up wedding gowns, pin buttonholes as well as keeping an eye on events running to time!

After your wedding I carefully edit your images and present them to you as a mix of colour and black & white photographs. You can typically expect 300+ professionally edited photographs from your wedding day.

Digital Packages:

Full Day (8-10 hours): £1400

All day coverage from bridal preparations to first dance with your images on disk or USB and a mounted fine art print print read for framing to show off your favourite photos in your home.

Bridal prep to Wedding Breakfast: £975

5-7 hours coverage with digital images for printing on disk/USB

Half-day: £650

Up to 4 hours coverage with digital images for printing on disk/USB

All full day packages include a consultation to better understand your needs for your wedding day, an online password-protected gallery of images for guest to view and purchase images, complimentary pre-wedding shoot so we can get to know each other a little better and choice of Fine Art Folio or a fabulous framed print from your engagement shoot.

WEDDING ALBUMS

If an album is included at the time of booking a complimentary signing board featuring an engagement photo is included for guests to sign at your wedding reception

Fine Art Album: from £575 a Folio Fine Art album with bespoke design across 40 pages (20 spreads) and a choice of leather covers. Handmade in the UK and printed on fine art paper this is the perfect choice for the modern bride. Available as 10x10" or 12x12" Additional spreads can be added to your album.

Storybook Album: from £425 A Perfetto album in magazine style with bespoke design across 30 pages (15 spreads) and a choice of cover options including acrylic, cotton, leather or photo cover. Available as 12x8, 14x10", 10x10" or 12x12" . Additional spreads can be added to your album.

Your wedding day is a special event you will remember for the rest of your lives and I will ensure you have an album of quality to enjoy throughout your life together. I have chosen Folio and Loxley albums for my clients. Folio Fine Art albums are hand-made in the UK with images are printed on fine art paper for an artistic finish. Leather bound, they provide a beautiful album much admired for their simplicity and contemporary feel. Loxley's Perfecto album provides a desirable storybook album which provides a high quality album at an affordable price and available in a choice of sizes and cover options. A Duo album with a choice of digital and matted overlay pages can also be provided.
