FAMILY PORTRAITS: What to Expect


Creating beautiful, timeless photographs relies on children being in a place that is both familiar and relaxed for them - together we will choose a location that is special to your family and provides a great backdrop for your country portraits. I love to be inspired by nature and so your garden, a park or woodland or by a river or beach all offer places for great family photographs. Each season also brings its own colour palette to the images providing endless options and guaranteeing that your images will be unique to your family.

As a mum myself I enjoy working with children of all ages and find each child a joy to photograph. I love to capture the spirit and character of each individual and during a session will see several sides to a child's personality - joy & laughter, love and happiness, energy and independence as well as a more reflective and thoughtful moods. 

I keep my sessions informal and relaxed focusing on having fun and working at your pace - so important with small children. Your children will never feel under pressure to "perform" but can be themselves making this an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

My session fees include the shoot time  and my expertise & skill in capturing your images plus editing and processing of each image and a viewing session. Together these images are presented as a story from the day and allow you to see the children you know and love in your photographs.




Investment:

I work hard to create the natural images parents crave of their children and each image is carefully edited to produce a high quality photograph suitable to hang on your walls or to be part of a family album. Each session lasts a minim of 2 hours and may utilise up to two locations.

Session Fee: £120

includes a complimentary 8x6" mounted print  and £50 credit  towards product purchases.

(As an overall guide most clients choose to spend £400-£1200 on their shoot with me).

Display Options:

I enjoy spending time with you to chose how to display your chosen images in your home. These are beautiful art pieces created just for you and which will live for a long time on your walls or as photographs in albums to enjoyed and passed onto the next generation.

Framing: Single and multi-aperture faming options in both traditional and contemporary frames are available. I will have samples to show you and together we can create a bespoke piece for your home.

Canvas: I offer modern canvases created for a stunning signature piece that is both creative and contemporary.

Albums: I offer a choice of beautiful quality fine art albums as well as matted or magazine style albums, which will show off your photographs for generations to come without looking dated or fading. The perfect keepsake for your family's treasured memories.
